Wasn't there a "Download Series" [offered by the Dead's own site] at some point that you could buy? I don't know if they are still available though... it looked like a good selection if memory serves.

Thx BD; been a while since I looked, but I was very happy with the early era selections that I DL a few yrs back when they were coming out with new ones every month or so.

For $10-$15, I thought they were great, but I guess they didn't do so well. Folks seemed to indicate they wanted "hard copy" for their money, which I can understand.

I was thinking they were going to go this route: open up DL'ing for SBDs and get them to us this way, but apparently the slower, "something you can hold onto" approach (eg, RoadTrips?) is what the public wanted.

I would love to know what the stats are on sales of items in these different formats...the big sell out of Fillmore Boxed sets seems to suggest there is a market...wonder what the sales were for the DL only shows?
